• Transfers from and to a designated airport, within a predefined time window
• Guides and vehicle support
• Energy nutrition
• Port Velo cycling jersey
• Roadbook including all the details you need to know on your trip

What's Not Included?

• Flights / transportation to the trip pick up location
• Travel insurance
• Some meals may not be included, which gives you the opportunity to discover the local cuisine on your own of with your friends. Our guides will be happy to give you recommendations on the best places to go
• Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks

Terms and conditions

Deposits and Payments

• In order to confirm your cycling holiday, Port Velo Cycling Tours must receive your deposit.
• In most cases the deposit fee required is £200 per participant.
• The balance of the payment is due 60 days before the holiday starts.
• If payment is not paid when due, Port Velo reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled.

Trip Cancellation insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive trip cancellation insurance. Unexpected events can occur, including injuries to our guests as they prepare for their trip, sickness, epidemics/pandemics and changes in employment situation. Please take out trip cancellation insurance at the time your trip deposit is paid.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel your trip, fees will be levied in line with the scale listed below (as a % of your total booking price), calculation is in calendar days:

• Over 60 days prior to departure – non refundable deposit
• 60 to 31 days prior to departure – 90% of total price of booking
• Less than 30 days to departure (including no-show) – 100% of total price of booking

*In the case of Private / Custom holidays, the trip deposit is non refundable.

Health and accident insurance

All of our participants must have comprehensive medical insurance, covering health, accidents and evacuation events. It is your responsibility to ensure you have this insurance in place before you travel.

Alterations to the tour itinerary

We are proud to bring you the highest standard of quality on our tours. Sometimes this means modifications may be made to this itinerary. Naturally, we will notify you of any changes that may affect your arrival, departure or accommodation.

Today, Granfondos are celebrated in numerous countries around the world. One of the most prestigious events in this category is the Maratona dles Dolomites, set against the stunning backdrop of the Dolomite mountains. 

These classic cycling trips are also an excellent opportunity for families and non-riding partners to join in on the experience. While you tackle the challenging routes, your loved ones can enjoy the festive atmosphere and explore the beautiful surroundings.

Our Explorer trips offer premium destinations where you can balance cycling challenges with relaxation, providing a perfect escape from your daily routine. Tailor your experience by choosing between intense rides or leisurely outings, like an easy coffee ride.

These trips accommodate solo travellers, groups, non-cycling partners, and families alike. Our expert local guides will introduce you to the region's landscapes, culture, and cuisine. Our Challenge holidays offer cyclists the chance to explore regions and countries through point-to-point rides. These journeys allow you to experience diverse landscapes and tackle legendary climbs while discovering hidden gems along the way.As you ride from one destination to another, you'll gain a true appreciation for the terrain, from challenging ascents to rewarding descents. These tours are designed to showcase both iconic cycling routes and lesser-known spots that make each area unique.
